Participating Bands: 20-28 Bands from Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska
Competition Format
- Prelims: Class competition based on Iowa High School Music Association classifications
- Finals: Open Class competition featuring the top-eight scoring bands from Prelims
Adjudication
A panel of esteemed judges from top marching arts organizations, including BOA, WGI, and DCI.
Registration Details
- Capacity: 24 Bands (potentially up to 27-28)
- Deadline: March 1, 2026
- Bands registering after March 1 will be placed on a waitlist and accepted as scheduling permits
Bands may register for Prelims only or top to be Finals-Eligible.
Awards & Recognition
- Prelims: Top three class placement awards and class caption awards
- Finals: Top eight placement awards and caption awards
