5:45 AM – Chaperone Meeting
5:55 AM – Full Band Meeting in the West Band Room (All Students need to be here by 5:55 AM)
6:05 AM – Load Buses
6:10 AM – Depart for Waukee (Travel Time: 4 Hours)
10:15 AM – Arrive / Unload / Change into Uniforms
11:10 AM – Band Warm-Up Time (Area A) Begins / Pit Warm-Up Time Begins
11:40 AM – Pit Warm-Up Time Ends
11:50 AM – Pit Report Time
11:55 AM – Band Warm-Up Time Ends / Walk to Gate
12:05 PM – Gate
12:15 PM – MOC-Floyd Valley Prelims Performance – Class A
12:30 PM – Change out of Uniforms / Put Away Instruments
12:50 PM – Depart for Lunch @ Host Location
1:00 PM – Lunch @ Host Location
2:15 PM – Depart for Field
2:30 PM – Watch Bands
4:30 PM – Prelim Awards (Drum Majors Only – in Uniform for Awards)
5:00 PM – Eat Supper in the designated Picnic Area
- Bring your own Supper to eat (Concessions will be available once finals start)
*Students will need to bring a sack supper along with them (Concessions will also be available at the field following our performance)
5:00 PM – Finalist Directors Meeting
*The following times are estimates only. Performance time is determined by a combination of score and random draw. Times would be calculated back based on the drawn performance time. Performance Time could vary from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
6:25 PM – Band Warm-Up Time / Pit Warm-Up Time Begins
6:55 PM – Pit Warm-Up Time Ends
7:05 PM – Pit Report Time
7:10 PM – Band Warm-Up Time Ends / Walk to Gate
7:20 PM – Gate (Band Report Time)
7:30 PM – First Performing Finalist Band
7:45 PM – Change out of Uniforms / Pack Up
- Students may sign-out after everything has been packed up.
- Buses and Trailers will depart approximately 60 minutes after performance time.
8:45 PM – Depart for Orange City (Travel Time: 4 Hours)
10:45 PM – Awards (Some Staff / Drum Majors and Guard Captains will stay for awards)
1:00 AM – Arrive in Orange City*
